great access to parks and local eateries for weekend explorers
I found the place perfect, as it was super close to the lovely Sunset Park, giving me a scenic spot for leisurely walks, and I could easily stroll to Picazzo's Healthy Italian Kitchen for a delicious meal after my day of exploring. Single travelers might appreciate the friendly staff who were always there to help with tips about the area, but a power outlet outside for hybrid cars would have been a nice addition to charge my vehicle conveniently.

We had a fantastic time exploring the stunning red rock trails nearby. The kids loved the pool area, and the staff made sure we felt right at home. Plus, the breakfast spread was delightful with fresh options, just what we needed to start our day.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom could use a little more space for families.

Super friendly staff, wonderful stay.

missingWrote a review on Jun 09limited seating
The plumbing could use some attention, as the hot water handle in our room leaked constantly, which was quite annoying. Seating options around the pool felt limited, and at times, it was challenging to find a spot to relax without feeling crowded.

Sugar Loaf Lodge is a gem! The staff is super friendly, and the cozy King Room was perfect after a day of exploring. Love that it's a stroll away from killer local eats—check out The Vault Uptown and Picazzo's for some tasty bites. Plus, the pool is a lovely way to unwind. Can’t wait to return!
I wish their grab-and-go breakfast started at 6:00 am instead of 7:00 am.
